| RE: Treating a Dog With Ringworm |
|
I understand the first poster only has your pets best interest in mind. With that said, I went to the vet and had my dogs tested for ringworm. It cost $50 per dog and took more than 2 weeks for the test to come back. It was ringworm and he gave me a $20.00 bottle of shampoo to wash them with. I would try the iodine first. It seems like it makes more sense to use the shampoo and if it works great if not then test. ... View related article. |

| RE: Using Unlocked Cell Phone with US Cellular |
Be very careful buying a phone from ebay. My daughter just bought a phone from a reputable dealer on e-bay and it didn't work. She sent it back and received another one, same thing didn't work. She sent that one back and received a third phone which still did not work. Finally she asked for her money back. The seller was nice about it and refunded her money but she was without a phone for about a month with all the mailing and such. You can buy a phone but it must be a US cellular phone or it won't work. Good Luck Also, any phones with internet services require the extra fees. TC in MO ... View related article. |

| RE: Improving Second Language Pronunciation |
Where I work there is a girl who speaks English with an accent. One day I noticed a man I work with was correcting her pronunciation. I thought it was rude of him, but turned out he was helping her. They go over and over the words that are hard for her to say. It is really helping her.

| RE: Using a Hot Tub After Triple Surgery |
I'm not sure what triple surgery is. Maybe triple A surgery. Whichever kind of surgery you had, don't get into the hot tub until your doctor specifically releases you to do so. The hot water will cause blood vessels to dilate and could cause a drop in blood pressure. Also, hot tubs are notorious for causing infections. I would not want a fresh surgical wound in a hot tub. This is coming from a surgical ICU nurse ... View related article. |

She is surely part beagle. What a cutie. Those ears, and the shape of her head and those soulful eyes. Exactly like my little beagle. Yeah, and the feet too. She looks like a sweetie.

Put something in the holes that the screws can bite into. Like pieces of wood. In a small hole, I have used wood matchsticks, without the heads of course. Or try wrapping the screws in gray tape (a lot) and then screwing them in. Hope that helps. TC in MO ... View related article. |

| RE: Saving Money on Greeting Cards |
My 7 year old and I love to make cards. I refuse to buy cards. I save all the cards we receive in a small recycled gift bag and when we have an occasion we go through and find a pretty picture or saying and recycle it into something unique and beautiful. I think people appreciate homemade cards so much more than store bought. My little one is so artistic, she comes up with some really neat ideas. Much better than me.

| RE: Reoccurring BV Infections |
|
Try yogurt. Try eating it every day. You can even try applying it externally to the sore areas. The bacteria in it help to keep all the organisms in check. It worked for me. I had a BV and kept thinking it was a yeast infection. The yeast medicines didn't help and made it worse if anything. Finally I tried the yogurt and some OTC probiotics from Wal-mart and it worked. Haven't been bothered since. This is touchy, but also make sure your partner washes his hands before um, intimate contact. ... View related article. |
