RE: My Dog Played With a Dog That Has Parvo
If your dog had all his vaccinations up to date, there is no reason why he should get sick at all. If you are still unsettled, phone your vet and ask them this question. They should be able to put your mind at ease.

RE: Drying Gourds
You can dry your gourd by taking a metal skewer and poking holes in the gourd. do a couple around the stem end, and a couple down the sides.

Make sure to wiggle it around so the hole doesn't close when you pull out the skewer.

Let air dry in a dry location but not in the sun.

Good luck!

RE: Cleaning Soot From Gas Stove Off Dishes
before you use the pot or pan, put liquid dishsoap ont he bottom of it including when you camping folks.

I one had a purcolator for camping that was blackened the person that gave it to me didn't want it any more.

I took it camping and rubbed the dishsoap all over teh bottom and sides of it and when I went to wash it at the end of the camping trip. The old and the new soot came right off of it.

It works on wood stoves and gas too.

Try it!

RE: Lip Gloss in Hair
I can help! I can help!

I just read this yesterday!

"As with anything oil based, mayonnaise, vaseline, lip gloss etc., do not wet the hair first before you shampoo! Put the shampoo on your head and wash like normal, then rinse the hair"

This is from a beautician and it was posted for those home rememdies on how to shine your hair. What to do afterwards.

When I was littel I once washed my hair with baby oil, my mom spent the entire morning washing my hair.

I wish we had known then, what I know now!

Shampoo first, then water.

Good luck.

RE: Ideas for My Sad Pine Tree
Also in the Spring and again in the summer, take some fireplace ash and place it on top of soil. Water as you noramlly would. This provides great fertilizer for the plant. But plants don't like to be fertlized over winter as this is there resting phase.

Good luck

RE: Recycling Preformed Small Bows
What a nice idea! I just saw a craft site that made a wreath out of a hanger bent to an O shape, wrapped with Green Garland and then had bows but on it! If you can't find a styrofoam wreath, than you could try that to, and it already has the "hanger" in place!

Season Greetings to you!

RE: Looking For A Natural Cough Medicine
I too was going to suggest the honey, it works great!

Also, if you need to numb the linning for a bit, mix in some clove oil. It helps on the nerve receptors!
