Cherry tomato roses as a garnish. With a very sharp paring kniife, peel a cherry tomato, keeping the peel whole, in one long piece. Roll to make a rose. Arrange large leaves of romaine lettuce on platter, jutting out from center and garnish with the roses and top with slivered almonds. Or, individualize each portion by slicing a roma tomato in half, lenghtwise, hollow out seeds of tomato and put chicken salad in each. Once again, top with slivered almonds, sticking out from top of filled tomato. Sprinkle with very finely chopped parsley. Also, before placing on platter, sprinkle the platter itself with the chopped parsley. Place sprigs of parsley around edges and between filled tomatoes. You can also trim a large cucumber, with paring knife, slice the peel down the cucumber lengthwise, creating "stripes". Slice the cucumber to make 1 1/2" peices and hollw them out, making little "bowls" and fill them with the chicken salad. Garnish the same way and add the roses and parsley around the plate. Well, I must agree with most folks here - you look stunning with the cut and the color, although a bit shocking, it's cool! Curl it, scrunch it, put some cute barrets in it and it would look stylish. I'm sure your hubby will look past the hair if he doesn't like it and just be glad to be at home, with you and his family. Hair grows out. I dye my hair red, a dark mahogony or rosewood red and I think your hair would be fine if you buy a wash out (3 -4 weeks) darker red (Clairol Herbal Essence) and do it yourself. Although not great for your hair to do it so soon again, your hair will not fall out. It will turn out darker than what you initially wanted but it will look like a natural color. Or try a dark brown. I am not a pro but my mom was a hairstylist and my sister is now and I have been dying and cutting my own hair for years. Good luck and don't worry.
