Oh my! You will be so happy once you get this done!! :-) My pump function was only 5% when my gallbladder was removed. Since yours has very little function as well, your body has already learned to process without it, which is good. I still eat everything I used to. I just have to be prepared if I have a big breakfast or after I eat the first meal of the day, because you will have to go right away. Otherwise for me it has been "business as usual." I will admit McD's does have a way of moving things along quicker, but if it doesn't bother you now, it probably won't afterward. You know what I find funny, is the the first doctor I went to had no relation to the lettuce. He didn't think it has anything to do with my gallbladder and didn't even check for that!
