RE: Frugal and Environmentally Friendly?
I have gotten really into eco-friendly way of life.
I make napkins out of old shirts now. Just cut to the size I want and zig-zag stitch and throw in a bowl, place on table and grab when need one....and since its only my and my family that eat here.. we wait after a few messes before washing.. Afterall, its mainly for keeping the mouth clean not wiping the plate clean..LO
Also, For Eco reasons. I have now gone all Natural Cloth pads for that time of the month.. Learned that from some other Mamas Out there. Also, going out of my way to get my kid sister to use cloth diapers for her daughter, not having much luck yet... But my daughters say when they grow up they sure will. I am a proud Mama ... RE: Thrift Store Shopping Tips
Thrift Stores Rock!! I go all the time. Like almost every other day if I can get away with it. I have gotten so far in the last weeks... A LARGE Trunk that would go for at least 70 bucks in the stores. for 20 bucks. Brand new nothing wrong, just missing the key to lock it.

Goodwill, would have charged a lot for that tho...I am not knocking Goodwill but sometimes they are way to pricey.

I have found tons of 70's stuff to decorate my house. I missed the homey feeling I used to have as a child, and went completely retro.

Thanks to my thrift store and its 10 cents here and there. I not only save money but I am also earth concise too. No more paper towels for me.. I bought 12 napkins for 1.20
I have purchased a mint condish... Black Futon for 20 bucks.
The list goes on. I love thrift stores. ... View related article.

RE: Cloth Training Pants
I would think so, I usually do that for a lot of my DIY projects. I would maybe add a inch for turn over around all the edges. Give it a whirl.. Just don't buy something pricey for a trial thing. In fact, go to your local thrift store and buy one from them which usually cost 25 cents or less. Nothing new not worth it. ... View related article.
