I too think this is stress related. I have a male neutered cat that I feed up on my dryer to keep his food away from our two chocolate labs and one dalmatian who like to chase him and I find spraying once in awhile on the washer. If you have a Bed,Bath and Beyond store they have trays of different sizes that are kind of a maroon color and they stack on top of each other. There are different ones that have small slots for earrings and larger spaces for bracelets,etc. I can't remember the brand name but you can ask them. ... View related article.

I love the new microfiber type cloths for dishes and wiping up and general cleaning. I found that if you buy them in the automotive department (I get them at Walmart) they are much cheaper for some reason. Easy to wring out for those of us with some arthritis. ... View related article.
