| RE: Cheap Teeth Whitening |
Whitening solutions will ruin your teeth! I used them in my early twenties and they rotted my molars. I am a heavy smoker and super heavy coffee drinking (I know, bad habits :-/ )
I started wetting my toothbrush and sticking it in my Arm & Hammer box. I use my toothbrush and brush all of my teeth the same as if I had toothpaste on it. I then rinse and brush with my regular toothpaste which is Sensodyne whitening. I have been doing this for about two weeks and my teeth have never felt cleaner and they are actually lightening! I am impressed!
One thing to caution. I was using it daily but it seems to irritated the inside of my lips. I am a lip bitter and it made it stand out. So, if you bite the inside of your lips, you might want to do this every other day. I do mine 3 times a week now. ... View related article. |

| RE: Keeping Dust Off Furniture Longer |
I painted my walls and apparently didn't let them dry between coats. Now my walls are sticky and collect dust horribly. I made a vinegar and water mix in a spray bottle and wipe the walls down with that, that lasts up to a month without dust whereas I was needing to dust daily before. Try that out on the furniture. It also will not hurt TV or computer screens. ... View related article. |

What! Throw all of those things in the garbage? No way, those are just Chiggers. I too live in Florida and we get them from the trees. Like falling off of moss.
They most likely are coming in on the bean bag chairs. I'd say spray the chairs after each use with Deet. I nice little coat should do the trick. If you get bites, use fingernail polish (clear might look best =)
Chiggers are an immature stage of a harvest mite. To harvest, they would need blood. Here is a link I looked up. http://www.howtogetridofstuff.com/u ... egorized/how-to-get-rid-of-chiggers/ ... View related article. |

I am a pack rat and I am organized. I can find anything I need in that junk pile over there or there or even there :-) The reason I hang on to things is because I think I will need it later. Sure enough when I throw something out, I end up needing to buy it again. Vicious cycle I have. I've started purchasing those clear shoe boxes from Wal-mart. They're $1.00 each here and it keeps things very tidy. Now I just need to figure out what to do with all of these boxes. ... View related article. |

| RE: Using Baking Soda to Kill Lice |
I use Diatomaceous Earth A.K.A. DE Earth. It's 100% all natural, it kills everything from lice, mosquitoes, fleas and everything in between. Get the Food Grade, NOT the pool grade. The food grade can be taken by humans and pets whereas the pool grade has chemicals.
I'm telling you, this is miracle stuff here! I plan on starting my daily diet of 1/2 teaspoon for a week and then upgrade in 1/2 teaspoon increments until I reach 2 teaspoons. Please look it up, it's fabulous. ... View related article. |

| RE: Easy Tick Removal |
I have an easier way. Take fingernail polish and simply continuously coat the tick until it literally falls off, head and all. I first used a green but I recommend a clear coat. Green looks a little funny and I wouldn't use polish remover on my pet. ... View related article. |

| RE: Dust From Dogs |
I use ans swear by vinegar & water, not to be mistaken for the feminine product. A simple mixture of 1 part vinegar & 3 parts water clean just about anything you need.
This past year I decided to paint my walls red & black. Apparently there was too much humidity in the air when I applied the second coat. Well, the dust came back just hours after wiping down the walls off. Then I made this solution and it lasts for about a month. Try it, please...You won't regret it! ... View related article. |
