I bought one a few years ago, it arrived pretty quickly. Because we have a king sized bed, it was expensive, and heavy! At first, the thing was so "poofy" that it was surreal, but VERY comfortable. Like settling into a cloud! My sleep DID improve, and my husband's did also. The mattress cover has compressed, but I keep turning and flipping it, and it is still quite comfortable. It's definitely time to turn it again, this week is the first time I had hip pain on arising in all this time!
Hubby and I nearly fight over the one wool pillow I got, I'll have to get more soon.
If your fibro affects your sleep, this cover can definitely help. It also got me to GO to bed, as I had a blissfully cozy nest to go to! I used to have "princess and the pea" syndrome where even a wrinkle in the sheet would wake me, but this cover has helped reduce the pain and painful sensations from pressure on my skin.
I love mine, and I hope I can always have one on my bed! And the pillow is very nice and squishy, not scratchy. The only change I would want would be bamboo instead of cotton on the cover! ... View related article.
Definitely some beagle in there. He's about 40 pounds? He might also have yellow Lab.... Does he bay or bark? Does he chase after every scrap of food, or would he rather case a ball? Does he like or dislike water?
I got a spray bottle, put a 50/50 mix of bleach and water, and sprayed it up there. (Cover any furniture, and keep pets and kids away while you spray!) The mark faded gradually, and can hardly be seen now! It was a plaster textured ceiling, and didn't hurt it in the least! ... View related article.
I wonder if these are carpet beetles.... The ones I have are teeeeeeeeny tiiiny black bugs with little gray spots. They move surprisingly fast for their size. The larvae are known as "wooly bears"!
Pretty much the only things you can do is clean clean clean! They eat feathers and hair and probably skin cells, so they are ubiquitous!
Some bug sprays that list specifically carpet beetles can be used, but only around the baseboards and edges, not on bedding or upholstery! Hot water washing for your bed linens are about the best way to kill them off. It's hard to kill them all, I never even see the larvae, only the adult beetles themselves. It's a struggle to keep up, although in cold weather I don't see them.
You can Google on them and then look at the images area to see if they are what you have.
Good luck....
Oh, do NOT use Borax as a pest control if you have pets or small kids, as they can ingest it. NOT a good thing! ... View related article.
I have this in my shower. One plumber says it might be from the flux used when we had a copper repiped. He had no clue how to remove it though. We have VERY hard water, and the deposits just laugh at CLR.
I was able to remove a similar stain many years ago in another building, but this may require nuclear strength cleaner. I'm also going to call the company who put it in and find out what kind of flux was used, perhaps there is a flux cleaner or remover I can get. Straight rubbing alcohol didn't work for this stuff like it does for regular soldering flux. ... View related article.
