I had a pump dispenser installed by the faucet on my bathtub; I keep my shampoo in this pump dispenser; makes it very handy and I also have a pull out faucet with a sprayer so if I want to shampoo my hair without getting into the tub I can by kneeling in front of the tub and using the sprayer to wet my hair, the pump dispenser to pump the shampoo and then rinse my hair! ... | Frosted Cranberry Salad |
1 - 13 - 1/2 ounce can crushed pineapple 2-3 ounce packages Lemon Flavored Jello 1-7 ounce bottle Ginger Ale 1 - 1 pound can (2 cups) Jellied Cranberry Sauce 1 - 2 ounce package dessert topping mix 1 - 8 ounce package softened cream cheese 1/2 cup chopped pecans METHOD: Drain pineapple, reserving syrup; add water to make one cup, heat to a boil. Dissolve jello mix in hot liquid; cool. Gently stir in ginger ale. Chill till partially set. Blend fruits; fold into gelatin. Turn into 9 x 9 x 2 inch dish until firm - prepare dessert topping mix or use Cool Whip; blend in cream cheese; spread over gelatin. Toast pecans in one tablespoon butter at 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Sprinkle on top. Chill
This salad can be served in a pretty clear bowl; it is a pretty salad to serve for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Make a scrapbook of your child's artwork and papers - label the scrapbook by the grade level; include school pictures, photos from field trips, school parties, etc. You can crop some of the child's papers/artwork to fit on a page.
In our kindergarten class we use some of the student's artwork and classwork and awards to be included in their annual scrapbook of the year's events in the classroom. I usually crop the pages and put them on a decorative piece of paper and add a caption.
This idea can be done yearly until the child reaches junior high or even through senior high and graduation ... View related article. |

There are a few churches that offer food for people in hospital - especially for family members that the patients will be in the hospital for a long term illness. Check out the local churches or food banks or food kitchens.
I know our church provides food for the people that have patients in the icu areas of hospitals. That is a need that should be addressed to the local communities because hospital stays for families can be expensive (parking, food, time off from work, etc.). ... View related article. |
