I think you could have a lot of fun with color. I love color myself but being in an apartment, I cannot go there. How about a nice blue? I think that would look awesome with the burgundy colored rug. The glory of paint is that when you tire of it, you can go on to another color.

I'll have to try it this way next time I have any leftover potatoes. I have done it in the past (with reg not instant) making the patties and dipping into egg and breading them and then frying them.
I keep two spray bottles in the kitchen. One with peroxide and the other with white vinegar. I spray with peroxide and then the vinegar and then rinse.
