First you should prime your cabinets. I had dark cabinets in my kitchen and I wanted to lighten them. Looks good too. I think that since your counters are green, you should go white and maybe get some stencil paint and ivy stencils, add a few stencils in ivy print around the corners of the cabinet doors.
