RE: Dead Fish Smell on a Dog
i have a recipe that i kept for years that was sposed to take care of skunk smell on a dog. I got the opportunity to try it this year, and it really did the job!! maybe it will work for fish smell. Mix together, one pint of hydrogen pyroxide(like you buy at the drug store), half a cup of baking soda, and a tablespoon of dish soap. This will foam up alot, so use a large container. -double or triple the recipe depending on the dog- sponge it on the dry dog. don't get it in the eyes. let it sit/soak for a few minutes- 10 maybe, and then rinse it off. I think i actually gave the dog a bath with her usual shampoo after. ... View related article.
