I had to do this in college but we used uncooked eggs. The best design was an egg in the middle of a 1 ft cube of foam rubber. The foam was held in place by rubber bands around the outside. They were dropped off a 6 story building. Also one guy welded together a 1 ft. square box and put macaroni salad in it with the egg in the middle. Surprisingly it survived the 6 story drop also. ...
