Whoops, somewhere in the editing, the last few lines were messed up.
The line should read:
Serve chilled with thin restaurant style chips or chips of your choice. Or better yet, stop by an actual Mexican restaurant for a bag of their chips from the carry-out menu.
If anyone has questions about this recipe, I will be more than happy to help.
On the note of melting the glass into blobs in a kiln, you could also cut the bottles into rings on a wet tile saw, then melt them in a kiln to form blobby rings.
Then string them all together for a recycled and unique wind chime. Visit your favorite search engine and type in MOTHER EARTH NEWS RECYCLED WINDCHIMES. Very fun!
While these posts are a few years old, I thought I would bump it back up with mention of a wet tile saw. Mine is a handy dandy little 7" QEP from Lowe's Home Improvement Center.
If I can use it, you can use it.
It would be best to use the saw outdoors, and just be sure to wear protective eye wear and hearing protection, along with clothes you don't mind getting dirty and wet.
Take your time, keep the water reservoir full and cut away.
