We also make the banana pancakes and I have added some pecans, mmm good. We also will add some blueberries and you have banana blueberry pancakes. When I do blueberry I pour my batter on the grill first and then sprinkle my blueberry's on top of the cakes and then flip when ready as normal. We live in Michigan and I make the same sugar water mixture for the oriole"s as I do humming birds which is 1 cup sugar and 4 cups water. First boil the 4 cups of water then stir in 1 cup of sugar just bring back to a boil and then cool before feeding the birds. Can store the rest in refrigerator about a week.
