I've been designing and assembling my own crafts and jewelry for about two years now, but I'm always looking for more crafts to try out. I'm a very frugal crafter myself and I pride myself on being able to find materials just about anywhere and at the lowest price possible. I also do what I like to call "recrafting" - recycling boxes, giftwrap, and other materials for my projects. Thrifty? Absolutely!
I can so relate. My hands get so dry that if I rubbed them together I'd be up to my eyeballs in amorous crickets! What I do is apply hand lotion before I go to bed so it has the whole night to work. I agree with the majority. She's definitely a german shepherd/lab mix. She looks a bit like a dog my aunt has. If she does have some lad in her pedigree, though, I suggest making regular visits to the vet. Labs, even lab mixes, are prone to get arthritis in their hips.
