RE: Movie Night Craft Ideas
I agree with the suggestions below. Especially making pipe cleaner spiders! What an awesome way to keep their minds on the movie! Also try picking a "Word of the day" and then have the kids do something like snap their fingers or touch their ears. That way they'll end up watching the whole movie to see how many times they can spot that specific word. That's what my old teachers did and worked really well. 200 kids. You're so brave! ... RE: Removing Make Up
I second the baby wipe idea! I've never been the kinda girl that wore make up, so I really didn't know how to apply it. But today, I found some tips online for a brown-smokey look and thought it might look good on me. *Sigh* I ended up looking like a Gothic clown! No way could I venture out into the world looking like that! I needed something strong but soft that could take off the eyeshadow without taking me eye lids off with it. Baby wipes worked great! Thanks for the tip! ... View related article.

RE: Where's Erma Bombeck When We Need Her? Uses For Unmatched Socks.
My grandmother always said she had a "one-footed, sock stealing monster" living in her dryer. We often ended up using the single socks as rags for cleaning around the house. But as I got older, I realized the fabric of the sock worked great for removing nail polish off of my fingernails. It saved a lot of money in cotton balls and it could be re-used. I know it sounds funny but it really works! Or, sock puppets are always fun. Just add some feathers or googly eyes and you can entertain young kids for hours! ... View related article.

RE: Alcoholic Fruit Drinks
Yeah...I agree with Karie, coconut flavored rum mixed with a juice of some sort. I usually use Hawaiian punch. It tastes awesome and it's all fairly cheap! Hope this helps Annie and have fun at your party!! ... View related article.

RE: Cure for Dry Feet
The other day I went to the can food outlet and discovered a product called "Palmer's Crack Butter" I know, the name sounds a little...out there but it really did make a difference for me. I suffer from really dry skin and this is the only thing that actually helped. Like I said, I found it at the can food outlet but I'm sure you could find it at your local health store for cheap cheap!!! ... View related article.

RE: Mayonnaise for Lice
Yes, mayo works! When I was in Elementary School, I came down with a BAD case of head lice...Gross!! I battled it for six years!! The little buggies seemed to be immune to everything we tried. Then, my friend suggested mayo...it worked for her. So, one weekend, my mother and I woke up around eight in the morning and put nearly a whole bottle of mayo on my head. We wrapped my head in plastic bags and let it sit all day and all night. The next morning, I rinsed it out and did it again. I washed it out that night and went to school the next day. Not only was the head lice gone, it made my hair look awesome!! I highly suggest this treatment. Not only if you have lice but if you want your hair to look clean and healthy.

P.s. If you're thinking about using this treatment to rid yourself of head lice...you must use mayo...miracle whip will NOT work. ... View related article.

RE: Plastic Melted on a Smooth Cooktop Range
Thank you so much for all your tips! They have saved my bum AGAIN! My boyfriend melted a plastic lid to the top of the our roommate's toaster oven. I thought we were going to have to fork out money to buy them another one. Nail polish remover and WD-40 worked like a charm. Thanks again y'all!! ... View related article.
