I am a "retired" housewife and I live in the mountains of North Carolina. We (my husband and I) moved here in 1997.

I am a part-time business owner/ glass painter. That is to say, that I will paint most forms of practical glass objects with requested motifs or designs. I have been painting items such as: dishes, glassware, vases, canisters, pet treat jars, candle stands, and plates that I turn into clocks. The items I paint are either custom ordered, or are sold to a gallery in Ephraim, Wisconsin.

Besides my glass painting passion, I love to try new recipes, and often spend time on many websites dedicated to food!

I love to try new creative endeavors on the computer, too.I love to edit and embellish photos on my computer. I have added so many "ideas to try" to my computer folders, that I will need add a new memory soon!!

Cross-stitch is another hobby I like. I have had no formal training, but I love to try to figure it out on my own.

Now, I find I am growing addicted to the Thrifty Fun website!

I have always been full of "ideas", as my husband will attest to, so I can't help but offer tips to this website. It's fun!!!
