RE: Eliminating Leftovers and Food Waste
I did that just tonight. Had some fresh spinach that going bad and some leftover pasta sauce that I froze in the freezer. I made some fresh bread dough; let it rise for 30 minutes and shredded the spinach and added some shredded mozzarella cheese and made some calzones. Poured pasta sauce over and made a salad. Voila! how about a ensalada de nopales or cactus salad?
Cut up the nopales, and add chopped/diced tomato, onion, cilantro, avocado, fresh garlic glove, a small jalapeno pepper and toss with fresh lemon or lime juice. It's so good. chill in fridge before serving. ... View related article.

You can always go to your local wal-mart and visit there sewing section and browse through their pattern books. They usually have plus size and even have yardage for as low as $1 a yard. I too, am plus size and can buy the pattern and material for less than $8. Then i can reuse the pattern with different material to alter the "new dress". ... View related article.

RE: Inexpensive 'Thank You' Church Dinner
How about a Hamo or turkey sandwiches on croissants. Potato, macaroni or pasta salad and some baked beans in a roaster pans. You can make some nice sheet cakes and decorate them or order them from a WalMart bakery. $900 can go along way for 125 people that about $7.20 a person. Check with a local restaurant or hotel to see if there menu is less than 7.20 per person. ANother idea is buy fried chicken from WalMart deli (already cooked) then all you have to do is supply the sides dishes and the dessert! Good luck! ... View related article.

I saw one of those for sale at a store that sells for 10.99.....being a frugal person I went home and made one with scrap material to coordinate with my kitchen colors. I made it in about 15 minutes and now the children know "EXACTLY" where bags. So long to a messy pantry! ... View related article.
