Test a small area first. We bought a house that the former owners put paper right over dry wall that was not primed or sized, we ended up replacing the drywall. Fabric softener does a great job, remember to rinse or wipe walls, before painting. Patti ... View related article.

Home Depot sells a product called "Concrobium" very low odor a friend just told me about it yesterday.

RE: Removing A Stain From Cement
HI ROSEM,

Spray on oven cleaner put foil over it for several hours, rinse well with vinegar and water. That works on oil and latex paints, from tv show queen of clean.

My husband spilled oil on a newer sidewalk and it removed all of the stain.

Our neighbor used cascade dish washer detergent and removed a paint stain.

My son was having a similar problem with the bleach spots.

Ask him what detergent he was using.

He said "Tide" oh no, he then noticed it was the one with bleach.
Good Looking, Well Educated, Talented and now know the difference in the detergent cap colors.
