RE: Underarm Odor
My mom had the same problem - only she wasn't aware of it! It was terrible, just terrible, and every time we tried to approach her about it she would cry and get offended. Finally I didn't say anything to her, I just gave her a product my m-i-l recommended, and it nipped it in the bud. It is a deodorant called "Certain Dry". It use to be drug store only, but now you can get it at wally world or any drug store. It is wonderful that you are so self aware and want to enhance yourself! Good luck dear. ... RE: Are Peppermint Odors Harmful During Pregnancy?

RE: Getting Rid of Bumble Bees
What you have are carpenter bees - they will also eat holes in screening. I saw a post earlier this week - also in Thriftyfun I think - that recommends putting a penny in a clear plastic bag filled w/water and hanging several of these around the area the bees are attracted to. Its suppose to make them think it is a spider, and they want to avoid spiders. I have since hung some up, and I think it is working! It's an inexpensive solution that is certainly worth a try! ... RE: Advice for Changing Careers
Perhaps you could find work in a therapy or rehabilitation center. You might enjoy being a physical therapist assistant (less school time required than being a P.T.), an occupational therapist assistant, or a recreational therapist. Working w/these folks will help you decide for or against a career in one of those fields, or in lieu of a paying job, you could always volunteer! ... View related article.
