RE: Selling a Home to a Family Member
He is getting the advantage of a reduced offer which would mean a higher share for you if sold to an outsider.
However, this is your Mother's house and you must abide by her wishes, she doesn't after all, have to give you anything.
Could be that other family members are already on the housing ladder and without her help, your brother would not be able to manage to purchase property. Either way, do not look a gift horse in the mouth. These things always happen in families, just accept it. ... View related article.

RE: Homemade Flea Trap
Fleas can't swim? Hallellujah, after five years battling with these monstrous pests I had begun to think them invincible.
Actually, I have tried the light and bowl of soapy water treatment........nothing, zilch. Maybe I have a more intelligent flea. Oh well, onwards and upwards. ... View related article.

RE: Fleas in My Hair!
There's nothing really to be done about fleas in ones hair. They don't live there as do head lice, fleas travel all over ones body including the scalp.
When you treat your scalp, the original flea is long gone and you just happen to catch a follower. The only solution is to rid your environment, difficult. I know, I have been trying for five years and live in England where I don't believe fleas are that prevalent.
I don't think that the establishment give nearly enough attention to what is an extremely stressful and distressing problem.I hate fleas. ... View related article.

RE: Borax vs. Salt for Fleas
Anyone who has never suffered from flea infestation would probably consider this a minor problem.
In fact it is seriously upsetting and problematical.
I hope to goodness the borax and salt treatment are effective as I personally am at my wits end. ... View related article.

RE: Home Infested With Fleas
I have a flea problem in my house and this is it's fifth year. Strangely, I can go for six weeks plus without being bitten and then for a month I am eaten alive.
Both my toy poodles are treated with Frontline, which appears to protect them but I get bitten.
I am in England where the flea problem is possibly not quite as bad (or maybe we are too posh to admit it heh, heh).
I don't believe that Diamotaceous earth is readily available here so shall try the Borax treatment, incidentally, the use of salt has been mentioned but doesn't this attract moisture and become soggy?
Anyway friends, I am going quietly bonkers with my problem, appreciate any advice. ... View related article.
