RE: Cheap Dollhouse Acceories
I made a fairy doll house completely from scratch, starting with two large wooden crates.
I made all of the furniture and decor accessories by hand using popsicle sticks, little wooden dowels, cardboard and a glue gun.
Fabric remnants or lace to make curtains, bedspreads, throw rugs or a top for a canopy bed.
Beads and baubles to make legs for chairs and tables. Glue beads together to make wall hangings, picture frames, adorable lamps with a base, little pebbles and beads glued together to make a bathtub or a path on the outside patio.
Wallpaper samples to cover the inside walls or cut to make borders in each room.
Dried flowers tucked inside a 1 inch glasss bead make a perfect table or floor vase.
Glue popsicle sticks together to make cute little tables, chairs and stairs, then paint them with paint or nail polish.
If you put your mind into miniature mode and making everything by hand, you will open up an entire world of endless possibilities.
Start looking around your house for anything and everything. You will get so excited and ideas will come to you so fast you wont be able to keep up,,so it did with me anyway.
My boyfriend saw what I was doing and he was so tickled, he started helping me. We made some of the most beautiful, dazzling furniture and deco pieces we could have sold them. It cost us near to nothing to make everything, especially using a large box of popsicle sticks. My Fairy House is a Masterpiece!
Ebay sells dollhouse furniture for very low prices if you dont want to make them by hand. Maybe you can use some of these ideas for the items you cant buy.
Best of luck:) ... View related article.

RE: Homemade Swiffer CarpetFlick Cartridges
I used to work at FedEx for years and found an incredible way to remove lint and hair from clothes. Its called the "Domestic or International Airbill Pouch" that sticks onto the package to hold the airbill. They are very sticky, more so than ordinary tape. You can get then free from Fedex or any courier service. Just pull the back adhesive off and go to town!
It would be the same thing as a an invoice label pouch that goes on packages. I just know the FedEx Pouches work the best. Every morning before work, all the couriers used these on their uniforms to get off lint, pet fur, hair or whatever. My cat loves it when I use one on him but my other cat is terrified of it! LOL!
I attached a picture of one so you can see what they look like. You will find tons of uses for them. I keep some in my car to get lint off my seats, I keep some in my suit case when traveling and some in the kitchen to pick up dry spills on the carpet. Have Fun:) ... View related article.

RE: Tips for Applying Makeup
I must agree with the above. I encourage my clients to never wear mascara to bed. During the course of your sleep, the continuous friction will pull your eyelashes out, not to mention stain your pillow case. I personally can't live without my lipliner:) ... View related article.

RE: Mildew Smell in Flooded Car
If you smell mildew. chances are there is still moisture in the car. Use DampRid to suck up any moisture and it will also remove some of the odor. You can buy DampRid just about anywhere, like Walmart in the house cleaning products isle. Bleach is the most effective way to remove mildew but I dont think you want to use that on your interior carpet. Sprinkle baking soda on the carpet then spray it with vinegar and water and watch it fizz and eat the mildew away. The vinegar smell will disapate after it dries. These two combined work miracles on everything!!

Remember, if you smell mildew, there is probably mold in the car as well. The spores can get into your daughters lungs and cause upper respitory problems like stuffy nose, conjestion, mucus build-up, headache, and a general ill feeling. The safest way is to have the interior carpet replaced. I just went through a similar problem with my car after all of the hurricanes. Best of luck to you:) ... View related article.

RE: Female Cat Peeing Everywhere
After re-reading your post I realized your cat is 6 years old. She is probably past her heat years and may have already been fixed. The comment Felicia made regarding a bladder infection is something to consider. If you brought in an addition to your family such as a new baby or another pet, she could be doing it out of spite, or if you were away on vacation for a while she may also spray out of spite. Cats can be quite spiteful and have very sensitive feelings:) I do hope you can figure it out. ... View related article.
