I recently picked up my '99 Toyota Camry from the body shop where I discovered a "mist" of paint on the passenger side window. They recommended #0000 steel wool, but even with no coating (or tinting) I fear damage from the steel wool. It's not like paint you can pick off with a fingernail; it's really on there. Is there a chemical (e.g. WD-40) that will remove it without damaging the glass? ... View related article.
