RE: Making a Fake Campfire
I think the previous idea is a good one and i would add to that use some glitter in like red orange and yellow on the flames to make them look realistic. You could also get one of those witches cauldrons the black plastic pot and then put a piece of oasis (floral foam) in the bottom and then make the flames and paint them glitter them and add a pick to the bottom and stick into the pot(campfire pot add a few logs to make it look like a fire pit and voi`la there you have it good luck! ... RE: 5 Year Old Birthday Party Ideas
Hi there. What is the theme of the party? I have done all kinds of parties for my kids through the years and have done different on older and younger. There usually weren't too many older kids just usually family members. I would look at all dollar stores and then different odd lot places for instance my daughter was having a tikki party and the girls are all getting really cute metal small pails I found with handles these are all in different spring colors and they were in a bin at the good will all new for 10 cents they had dollar price tags from target I grabbed a bunch because these are even good for lil finger foods for on the tables but I plan on filling up with different things for the age level at the same thrift I found for 10 cents all kinds of stuff in this basket all new from target little necklaces that say I love gossip or best friends etc and then there were hello kitty frames in that 10 cents thing too and all different kinds of things! but I can help better if I have a theme or direction the party is going in! RE: Gift Ideas for 40th Birthday
If you are looking for gag gifts i did this once; filled a over the hill bag with products they might need.
I used
Geritol vitamins
hemorrhoid cream
wrinkle cream
Put some jelly beans in a pill bottle and labeled them over the hill supplements
I did all kinds of gag things like this it was a hit!
If you aren't looking for gag gift ideas I have plenty of other themed gift ideas!

RE: Reusable Cotton Menstrual Pads
I am sorry but since no one else said it, I will be the first to say it! I find this really appalling and gross, the whole idea of making menstrual pads! I don't like pads at all because they are bulky and inconvenient and there is the smell factor but at least the store pads have absorbent layers where the fluid goes and some have a deodorized scent. I am glad that people are going green but I am sorry, I don't wanna be near anyone wearing these homemade pads. I am thinking of the smell factor. I say some things are worth buying and using. I do my part other ways to reduce, reuse, repurpose and recycle.

I am thinking the grandmas did it because there were none around to buy in the stores at that time. Sorry if I offend! ... View related article.
