| RE: Removing Sauerkraut Odor from Refrigerator and Freezer |

Put in a bowl of vinegar (sounds like it would hurt more, but it helps) and an open container of baking soda. Change the vinegar the next day. After a day or two it should take out the smell. They both absorb odors. ... View related article. |

| RE: Wedding Cocktail Reception on a Tight Budget |
A good thing to do is enlist the help of high school or college age kids who are in training or even adults. Just like when people go to the cosmetology colleges to get beauty services, look for someone who needs the training and get them to help you out. Many people who are good with food will have ideas about streaching a few ingredients into several dishes.
You can also get servers and photographers this way. A professional does not always fit into the budget, so start asking everyone around you. A cousin may have a friend who is a genius and making cheao canapes. And someone always knows a creative genius that can do the decorating for cheap, or even free as a favor, that could be their wedding gift to you. Just don't be afraid to ask. ... | RE: Cleaning Black Spots in Toilet (Mold) |

I've heard that filling the bowl with coke will clean it. If you get a generic brand 3 liter and let it sit over night it should eat it away. Maybe the bleach is just bleaching out the color and not the problem. ... View related article. |

| RE: Bonfire Birthday Party Ideas |
As long as you have adults there, boy/girl parties at that age are great for kids beginning to learn to act like young adults with each other. I remember how awkward it was at our first girl/boy parties at that age. You aren't little kids anymore, but you are not on the level of older teens either. The best way to go is to bring out they stuff you know they will like: s'mores (they get everyone excited!), jiffy pop, and the little sticks that turn the fire different colors. This is their time to still get to be little kids at heart, so they need the chance to enjoy that side of life before it's not cool anymore :)
Even if some kids do act standoffish and like they are too grown up, bring up some good old fashioned games like three legged races, murder in the dark, balloon popping races and hide and go seek. Maybe they will realize that having fun outdoors with friends and family is something that never grows old. Good luck with the teenage years ahead!
And beware of the dark corners, thirteen year old try to get away with anything if left alone! ... View related article. |

| RE: Use Antiperspirant For More Than Under Arms |
|
It's also great at preventing chafing on your thighs when you are wearing skirts or dresses. I used to use the anti-chafing gel for long nights out, but then I read that stick deodorant works, and I think it works better. Save the chafing gel to use as a cheap foundation primer (no kidding! its way cheaper than most primers out there and its the same thing). ... View related article. |

| RE: Creative Anniversary Gift for Boyfriend |
A gift I gave my boyfriend at Christmas was supposed to just act as the card, but he said it was one of his favorite gifts ever.
I thought up a list of a bunch of differnt memories, then I made up a long, dorky poem about them. I just wrote two lines about each thing. And these were simple as "Whether its fishing on the pier or enjoying some chicken and beer" Then I drew stick-figure people and had a picture of each memory to go along with the verse. The fact that it kind of rhymes most of the time and there are funny pictures made it work. And it will bring back lots of happy memories for you as you make it.
He read it with me and we were crying at the end because we were both laughing so hard. He liked it and he is NOT the senstive sort at all, he is very outdoorsy and macho. But it had him laughing.
Good luck! ... View related article. |

| RE: After Effects of Tooth Extraction |
A couple of years ago I had two teeth pulled, and it was a lot better after two days. I wouldn't do any DEEP kissing, because you will still have a healing hole in your mouth, but as long as you keep everything clean, the odor should be fine. In fact, if the tooth you are getting pulled was causing odor, then it will be better than it was.
And I remember being scared about kissing for the first time after they were gone (didn't get implants...still working on that), and I was scared that it would gross someone out and was paranoid. However, since then I have done lots of kissing :) , and have even met the love of my life, and it didn't affect any of them! ... View related article. |

| RE: Ask for Makeup Samples |
I love makeup too, and the best thing I do is swapping on Makeupalley.com . I have gotten things that I have been looking for and gotten rid of stuff I don't use.
And its true that more expensive is not always better. I remember reading where they said to trust the drugstore brands when it comes to items like face care products, because they have a much bigger company than department stores and designer lines. Those higher end lines may charge a lot, but they don't have nearly the number of customers as the drugstore brands. This means the drug store lines have more money to invest in creating, testing, and making better products. ... View related article. |
