Have you back washed? You did not state what kind of pool you have. If you have an above ground pool with a sand filter, you will need to turn the top lever to pump to waste for about 5 to 10 seconds then filter to waste about the same time then to backwash, make sure you have the clear blue vinyl like hose attached. I live here in Indiana, what you need to do is call a few local septic guys & get a price. Generally its between 100 & 150 depending if its winter or not. In the winter they charge more.
