RE: Surprise Birthday Party For Teenager
Here are some ideas:

Movie night: if you have access to a nice lawn run an extension cord from the house outside and plug in the tv or a laptop works. Make popcorn and let everyone season theirs with butter, salt and chilly pepper or other yummy condiments.

Music Madness: Isn't music about everything? Just turn up the tunes and get the party rolling with snacks. Turn the lights down and get out the Christmas lights to give a nice dancing atmosphere and party down. You can play games like musical chairs, guess the tune or the artist and let it be a music potluck where everyone brings their favorites.

Smoothies rule: It's true. Devote this party to smoothie makings have everyone bring their own fruit and make sure you have at least to blenders and lots of yogurt and some juice then let it get wild while you whip up some sweet smoothies. ... View related article.

RE: Birthday Theme Ideas
well it all depends on the girl. when i was 10 i had a beach birthday, basically tropicial theme. when i was nine I great fairy party where we made perfume and had a treasure hunt to find wands (dowels with ribbons great for dancing). A lot of kids like fantasy and fantasy is allways fun because it leaves you so open. here are some other fun ones

hippie party (music, tye die, flower power, ect)
safari party (an indiana jones type adventure)
Ancient Greece Olympics party (togas, olive branch crowns and lots of fun games)

If you have a video camera and your daughter likes acting get out a box of costumes and props and let everyone film some silly movies into the night. ... View related article.

RE: Family Reunion Invitations
this is an intresting idea that i just thought of but it is kind of a lot of work to pull off. have photo's or picture renditions of each family member your inviting but have the person the invitation with a space on there picture of where there face should be. then to rsvp they have to paste or draw there face in the space and send it back to you.

or an easier idea is to send leafs to each person with the info on one side and a spot to put there intermediate families names on or a picture. (put insctuctions on the back) then have everyone send them back to you and attach all the leaves to a tree cutout as a family memorial and decoration to bring to the reunion. ... RE: Autumn Harvest Moon Festival Ideas
I would also include something for rosh hashana(SP) such as honey apples or circluar bread and perhaps something related to the native american green corn festivle. In old irland they carved turnips instead of pumpkins. And theres the german Oktoberfest. So German music or dancing might be good. ... View related article.

Take a tape recorder to a near train station and record train station sounds then play them. Play train tag where anyone whose tagged needs to link arms with whoever's it. ... View related article.
