RE: Red Popsicle Stain on Carpet
Try Oxy Clean. You could soak a rag in a solution of hot water and Oxy Clean, and lay it on the stain. Repeat until the stain is gone. Follow the directions on the can, and check it first in case it should not be used on that type of carpet fabirc. But I just used Oxy Clean to remove old baby formula stains and it worked great. ... RE: Stains from Tissue Paper on Sweater
You could try an Oxy Clean type detergent, but make sure you test the sweater in an inconspicuous spot first. Oxy Clean can be used as a soak or just added to the washer. I just used Oxy Clean to remove 5 yr old baby formula stains on some baby clothes that had been in our attic, and it removed them all after soaking for a few hours in hot water and Oxy Clean. I wouldn't recommend soaking a sweater that way, but perhaps a little thrown in with the wash might help. ... View related article.

If the stains are protein-based, such as baby formula, etc, try Oxy Clean. I was just able to remove 5 yr old formula stains from baby clothes that had been in our attic, by soaking them for severl hours in about a gallon of hot water, and two scoops of Oxy Clean. ... View related article.
