RE: Removing Flarp Putty from the Ceiling
Try acetone. It may ruin the color on the ceiling, so you'll probably have to paint over it. But nail polish remover can work wonders sometimes. ... View related article.

RE: Mice in Car's Fan Housing
They make small traps called mice cubes where the mouse can get in but cannot get out. The traps can be baited with peanut butter and will have to be cleaned out daily; I realize this is not a good long term fix but it may catch a few that the moth malls don't catch? ... View related article.

RE: Product Reivew: Viva Paper Towels
I buy Viva paper towels and then generic paper towels. The Viva paper towels have a specific job: they are used to clean my fish tanks. I always get the select-a-size one and use it to clean out the test tubes for water testing; they wipe down algae from the front; they are even strong enough to get stubborn snails from the front and sides of my largest fish tank! The Viva paper towels are only to be used with the fish-related stuff, though; anything else warrants the use of a generic paper towel! BTW I cannot use a recycled cleaning rag for the purpose of the fish tank because #1 it will leave lint that the fish will eat and can cause blockage, and #2 they have been washed in soap and soap cannot go in a fish tank. ... RE: Product Review: Head-On Headache Remedy
You can also spend $1-$3 on a tube of generic muscle rub and it will do the same thing. I have found the basic ingredients in Deep Heating are the same as Head On, and it works great too! ... View related article.

RE: Front Load Washer Vs. Top Load Washer
I love the front-loading washer at the Laundromat. I can put all of the clothes from my hamper into a medium-sized front loading washer with 2 cups of detergent and maybe 1/4 cup of OxyClean (if the clothes were particularly dirty that week) and they all come out clean. The cost is around $4.25. Then I put the same batch of clothes (a full hamper's worth) into the dryer and set it for an hour, which runs around another $4.00. Altogether, $8.25 is not a bad cost opposed to a full $10.00 in my complex's top-loading washer and traditional dryer that uses $10.00 to wash and dry the same 4 loads of laundry. ... RE: No Rider Patch Reviews
I have never heard of them either, but I would recommend instead of layering on more items during the hot summer months, you can adjust yourself discreetly. If you are walking along a sidewalk and feel that the shorts are starting to ride up, slow down your gait and wiggle your hips a little to keep the shorts out of the crotch area. It works. ...
