RE: Removing Smoke Odor from Leather Boots
Put a 2-3" layer of unscented clay kitty litter into a plastic storage tub, lay the boots inside and snap the lid on. Leave the tub sealed for a couple of weeks. Your boots should be free of the smoke smell! This works for books too. ... View related article.

RE: Poodle Puppy Smells Bad
I'm babysitting my brother's dog, and he smelled horrible also. It was so bad that within two days we smelled awful also (the dog insists on sleeping in our bed).
We took him to our vet and found out that he had a yeast infection in his ears. She gave us some antibiotics and within a week the smell was gone!

RE: Uses for Faux Fur Coats
Muffs are coming back in style - make some from the sleeves.
Pillows would be nice.
Hat with matching mittens.
Cute leg warmers (again, use the sleeves), especially over short boots.
Purses.
Cut them all up, mix and match, and make a giant couch throw or bedspread with matching shams.
Fur trim on sweaters.
Take the sleeves off and refashion into a cape.(You might have to take the collar off also to make it look right.)
Head turning grocery totes!
