RE: Pouring Paint Without the Mess
I found that a disposable cup of some sort, dipped into the bucket, and then poured into a paint tray worked, until I got the paint in the can down to a level that I could easily pour.

RE: Keeping Makeup From Rubbing Off Clothing
The key to good "make-up" is blend, blend, blend. After I finish my face I use a tissue under my chin and on my neck area and gently rub a little off, that's the stuff that gets on clothing. You still have the "color", but not the mess.

RE: Buying Directly from China
I would sincerely hope you would reconsider! Shame on you! Buy American! Our country needs all the "inside" help it can get! I am checking everything I buy to make sure it's not "made in China". You'd be surpriseed even at Wal-Mart that alot of products made in the USA are cheaper than those from out of country. The quality is as good or better as well.

RE: Refreezing Cooked Ham
After tightly wrapping ham to prevent freezer burn, you can refreeze a ham however cured pork products loose flavor & texture changes if kept too long. I prefer to use my foodsaver or Ziplock Vacuum bags and refrigerate cured ham products. That's why luchmeats, bacon & ham are packaged the way they are today. ... View related article.

RE: Making a Sippy Cup Bungee
I'd be afraid of this. Possible child could wrap bungee around his neck or have the sippy cup smack him in the face.
Children throw bottles & sippy's away as a sort of game.
Sorry but patience & love are only answer I can give.

RE: Craft Project: Bridal Favor
Perhaps "treat" bags with children's cartoon themes etc., might be a better idea. Sorry but doesn't look like wedding "treats" or even bridal shower "treat" bag.

RE: Store Sour Cream Upside Down
Thank goodness to see this hint in print. I have told people in the past about this & they think I'm nuts!
It really does work and really prolongs "shelf" life of sour-cream & cottage cheese!

RE: Homemade Taco Seasoning
I keep a jar of homemade "Chili" seasoning mix in my pantry. Here's recipe:
1/4 cup ground red chili pepper or cayenne
1/4 cup paprika
2 Tbsp.dried minced onion
4 tsp.ground cumin
2 tsp. dried oregano
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. crushed dried red pepper

Combine all ingredients. Makes 3/4 Cup

Add 3 Tbsp. to each pound of meat when making chili. Replace commercial chili powder in favorite recipes. Use to season meat for tacos or taco salad. Add to ground beef for grilled burgers or a meat loaf.

If your pallet is tender just use less. It's spicy!

RE: Removing Texture from Walls
I think what you need to do it dampen the ceiling and scrape off the texture...slow & tedious. That type of ceiling was blown on. You will have to retexture after removal. Wear protective goggles & face mask. Be prepared for lots of dust from texture. Good luck.
