RE: Use Mayo When Making Grilled Cheese Instead Of Butter
The label on my Hellman's real mayo has 1.5 grams of saturated fat per serving. I hesitated to try it too, but the flavor is delicious, much more interesting than butter! ... View related article.

RE: Canned Tomatoes Have a Metallic Taste
My experience with canned tomatoes is they should be used soon after purchase while they still taste good, and the metallic taste becomes more pronounced the longer they are stored. I personally wouldn't use them, as we are already getting enough harmful metals in our bodies from other sources. Especially in your good salsa, which is so labor intensive! ... View related article.

RE: Looking For Recipes Using Tofu
Thank you both for helping me out with those recipes. I love anything Italian, and the other recipe sounds great except I don't usually fry anything. It was a big help to me to learn that tofu absorbs the flavors of the foods its cooked with. For a tofu newbie, that is crucial information! ... View related article.

RE: Adding Chicory to Ground Coffee
Take it from a Louisiana coffee drinker, there is nothing "mellow" about chicory. It is strong and bitter and definitely an acqired taste. ... View related article.

RE: Weddings Are Too Expensive for Just One Day
I bought my husband a silver and paua shell ring for $35 on a special vacation, and he obviously loved it more than his platinum wedding band with diamonds. He kept it clean and rarely took it off. We had fond memories of that special time, and that is what's important. Make lots of special memories while you can, and don't fall into the trap of petty arguments. When things get stressful, take off together and make memories. ... View related article.
