RE: Organizing Tupperware and Plastic Containers
I have two baskets that each fit on a shelf of a narrow cabinet. One holds the round containers nested with the lids on the sides of the basket, and the other holds the square and rectangular containers with their lids. Many years ago, my daughter who is now an engineer, organized them and added numbers and letters to each piece with matching cover, which is now done with some companies. I also go through the baskets occasionally to make sure that all bowls have a lid and discard the orphans. ... View related article.

RE: Fidget Apron for Simple Mobile Activity
I thought this was such a wonderful idea and voted for it. Then I spoke to my daughter who works in a nursing home. I wanted to make several aprons and donate them for the patients. She said that it is a wonderful idea but they could not give them to the patients. It seems that family members are very lawsuit-minded now a days and if a button came off or if they caught a finger in the zipper . . . Well, such a sad state, but anyway this is a great idea if your own family member is in need. ... View related article.

RE: Looking For Easy, Plus Size Clothing Patterns
I suggest you check out http://www.kwiksew.com. I used to have a sewing school and used these patterns. They are made of a sturdy paper rather than the hard to handle tissue paper, they are well-drafted and the pieces fit together well, and the directions are well written. I admit they are a bit costly, but they are well worth it. They have beginner patterns up to size 4x. My students loved this line of patterns! Best of luck. ... View related article.

RE: Red and Scaly Skin
It sounds like psoriasis to me, which needs a prescription to heal. You have to be extra careful that whatever you put on your eyelid doesn't go into your eye. I have found though that if I keep my skin well moisturized I have fewer outbreaks. I take flax oil (internally) as a supplement and also use baby oil on my wet skin after a shower. Sorry I couldn't find the magic pill for you! You may need to see a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis. ... View related article.

RE: Microwave Convection Reviews
Linda, I have one and I never use the convection, basically because I can't get over sticking metal in the microwave. Also, once you've used the convection oven you need to let it cool down before you can use the microwave, so you couldn't roast a chicken and then microwave the veggies to go with it. I bought a toaster oven that is also a convection oven and use that all the time. Don't know if this was what you wanted to hear though. ... View related article.

RE: Putting My Sewing Machine Back Together
It also helps if you tip the sewing machine back while doing this so everything doesn't fall out before you snap the blace fins closed. ... View related article.

RE: Use Vaseline To Avoid Dry Legs
I use baby oil. Put it on right before you get out of the shower, then lightly pat your skin dry. The baby oil keeps the moisture of the water in your skin. A big bottle lasts a long time, especially if you squirt the oil onto some sort of applicator and then rub it onto your skin. I use a long-handled moisturizer applicator that my daughter bought me in a catalog for people with disabilities. I wet it first then add the baby oil so a wet washcloth would work just as well. I used to have awful dry skin and psoriasis all over my body but that has totally cleared up - as long as I use the baby oil! ... View related article.

RE: Cutting Things Out
I was a paper doll fanatic as a young girl and figured out the "trick" way back when. You hold the scissors steady and more the paper or cardboard. If you'll be cutting into an inside point, cut from one side going inward and then switch to the other side going inward again. Hope this makes sense to you, good luck! ... View related article.

RE: What breed is my dog?
I don't think it's a skipperkee; I have one and they are always black. I would say it's a spitz or mixed breed. How tall is he and how much does he weigh? Also, what is his tail like? Have a look here: http://www.akc.org/breeds/breeds_a.cfm ... View related article.
