Something that as work great for me is to put a double fan in the window.

It doesn't quite fit in my tiny window so it's sideways but it still gets the moisture out since you can set it on reverse and it pushes air OUT the window.
Even works better than a dehumidifier.

I bought a GE about 1 1/2 year ago, and it's working great. It's not too noisy. I can't really tell you that it's that much better than another, it's the only one I've owned. It was the cheapest they had! I put everything in there, but I do rinse off before hand since I'm only running it once or twice a week.
