RE: Tell Retailers You Saw It Cheaper to Get a Discount
My son works for a major home improvement store in the large appliances dept. They will match or better other stores prices if you bring in proof of your quote or a sales ad. But not just by saying that you saw it cheaper somewhere else. ... View related article.

RE: Use a Reflective Collar for Pets
Thanks so much for that great idea. This would also be great for my Jack Russell who evey now and then will accidently get out. We have 5 acres for her to run but unfortunatly she's a runner and goes way beyond her boundries. She's not very good at coming when called and if she gets out the chase is on. Nighttime is the worst to try to find her as our neighborhood is pretty woody. Our flashlights would pick up the reflective collar and make it much easy to follow her. Where can you buy the collar? I've never seen one. Thanks again for that tip. Pictured is my little escape artist Lulu. ... View related article.

RE: Turn A Photo Into A Window Outside
What an awesome idea! Those of us who aren't good at woodworking could probably use a shadowbox frame and stain it. I think you can get them at Michael's or other craft stores. I just love this idea. Thanks for sharing. ... View related article.

RE: Lace Hearts
These are very cute. Maybe you could change the heart to something Christmasy and use them for tree ornaments. This would be a great craft for children or grandchildren. With help from adults with the sewing of course. ... View related article.

RE: Condo Manager Evicting My Dog
Your dog is very cute. I'm not really sure but it looks like he might have some bulldog in him. They get a bad rap sometimes. And many insurance companies will not insure you if you have a bulldog on the property. This may be the case with the landlords insurance. I know it is with ours. Just a thought. Good luck. I hope you can get it worked out somehow. ... View related article.

RE: Lhasa Apso That Bites
The water bottle is a great tool. It really gets the dog's attention and they will always relate it to what they were doing when they got squirted. Don't use a regular squirt bottle though. I bought mine at Target in the garden department. It has a rather hard stream and will reach quite a long way. Dogs really do not like it. I have a Jack Russell Terrior that loves to jump on our company. I just squirt her with the water bottle and she settles down. Now all I have to do i pick up the bottle and she will stop jumping. And it's very humane. I learned this at obedience classes. Another idea is to put a few pennies in an empty soda can and tape the hole shut. When your dog starts to smile like he is going to bite, just throw the can at him. It's light so it won't hurt him but will startle him. Soon he will relate his biting action with this thing coming out of nowhere thats very loud and scary. Hope this helps. ... View related article.

RE: Black Stain on a Smooth Surface Stove
I don't have one of these stoves but someone I work with told me just yesterday that he came home and saw his wife cleaning the top of her flat top stove with a sugar cube. He said it did a good job and did not damage the stove. Just a thought. ... View related article.
