RE: Storing Frozen Vegetables
What I usually do is wash the veg, then place in plastic freezer bags and cook in the microwave for approx 2 mins on high, my microwave is a 900w. When finished, seal bag and place in iced water to cool then freeze. Easy and no mess.
Hope this helps Anne UK ... View related article.

RE: Keeping Hydrangea Blooms for Months of Enjoyment
Hallo Cyinda

Like your tip. I also love hydrangeas, but I dry them. I put about one inch of water in a vase and then put the flowers in and leave them. Do not top the water up just let it evaporate, the flowers dry slowly and also last for months, years even.

RE: Making Butterflies Out Of Soda Bottles
Thanx Ariela

I got straight onto the web site. Will definitely have a go at this one. Can the butterflies be hung outside or will the paint run?

RE: Have a Recycled Christmas
Hi there Linda
What a good idea. It makes you de-clutter your own home at the same time. Easier than having a garage or car boot sale

RE: What Is This Plant?
Hallo Lisa

I am sure your plant is a Begonia Rex, it is grown for the beautiful foliage, if you are lucky you will get some small white flowers but they are nothing like it's more glamorous relatives.
