Please purchase a dog obedience book and follow the training to the letter. If your dog doesn't learn now what it can't do. It will just continue to worsen until the worse happens. There are numerous web sites to help you too. Just please correct it while you can before someone or some other animal is harmed. L15 ... View related article.

RE: Leash Training a Puppy
You need to buy a good 'dog training' book and follow it to the recommended letter. Some of it may sound quite cruel, but within just a short time, your walks will be so worth the effort, some pet shops have economical training classes, and are worth every $ spent. The habits you instill in this puppy now will be great rewards as the dog matures. Keep us posted! ... View related article.

RE: Making a Screen for Reclaiming Landscape Stone
I needed to reclaim gravel/soil from my driveway. I cut four boards 24" and screwed them together overlapping opposite corners. Then stapled cage wire from top, across to other top. Folded corners of wire and stapled it down. I then nailed a smaller board over the area that had been stapled and to cover the raw sharp edges of the screen . It fits perfectly on top of my wheelbarrow, a bit heavy, next time will use 2x2's instead of 2x4's. This has worked perfectly for me. ... View related article.

RE: Preventing Jeans from Stretching
EVM.I worked for a clothing manufacturer for a while. When the pants stretch after wearing a while, it is a defect from laying the pattern on the fabric with too much bias. Bias stretches. Take them back to the store and get another pair as nothing will ever solve this. There is no way to detect this before purchase, if your store won't take them back, look up Levi's web site and complain to customer service. They should make them right. Good Luck. L ... RE: Restringing a Wind Chime
Find a old tin pan lid, unscrew the top knob to attach a wire hanger that you can make out of strong wire, or purchase a 'eye'bolt at the hardware that will fit the hole..put washers on each side for stability and to keep the eye bolt from pulling thru. Then drill holes evenly spaced according to how many chimes you have and their width (they will have to touch slightly). Attach fishing line to chime, measure length desired, run thru lid hole and tie onto a small washer. Will last for many years. L ... View related article.

RE: Recipes With Tender Meat
Lynda, I work with elderly almost daily. Just put any meat in a blender or processor, add chicken broth, beef broth, milk, or any vegetable juice. Chop it fine, but not all the way to puree unless he hasn't any teeth. This works well with vegetables too. Hope this helps. L ... View related article.
