RE: Remedies for Restless Leg Syndrome
I also have RLS but I treat it almost every night. I get low on potasium and I have to eat a lot of bananas. If I don't have any bananas I drink Tonic water with a little juice(to mask the bitter taste) just before I go to bed. The quinine in the tonic water will ease the RLS. I know I can not do without both or at least one of them. It was a God send to find out about the quinine in Tonic water. I was talking to friends one day and was informed that it would work. Tried it and works for me. Hope it works for you. ... View related article.

RE: Shop for Gifts at the Dollar Store
My husband and I bought most of our Christmas gifts at the Dollarama. We bought a singing stocking for both my mother and stepdad each and filled it with things like pencils, erasers, pens etc. We also gave them another gift each from Giant Tiger store. We really had fun filling the stockings with stuff we knew they needed and cost us very little to satisfy them. We do watch where the merchandise comes from though. ... View related article.

RE: Directions to Make Dishrags
Here is the one I do all the time. Cast on 4 stitches. Turn. Knit 2, yarn over, knit to the end. Continue this until you have 43 stitches on the needle. Next knit 2 together, yarn over, knit 2 together, knit to the end. When there is only 4 stitches left, cast off. You can hand crochet a string and then attach the end to form a loop. This is used to hand up the dishcloth. Hope this helps. If you don't understand the instructions as I have put here feel free to e-mail me at ritaannette AT sympatico.ca. ... View related article.

It is in hot water put in some lemon juice, honey, vinegar and a pinch of ginger. Drink it while it is still hot. Tastes terrible but it works. Cheaper than the store boughten stuff. ... RE: Homemade Cat Repellent For House Plants
My mother and I have been using banana peels pieces in our flower beds outside to repel cats. I suppose if you put some in your house plant it will work also. Cats don't like the smell of bananas. We even tried it in the yard to repel skunks and we have not seen nor smelled one since. Worth a try. Banana peels usually go in the compost anyway. This way they are useful and will compost in the soil. ... View related article.
