I don't think you can sell them. I use 8 prescriptions a month & my husband uses 4. I saved for a couple of years until I had a couple of boxes of them. I couldn't see throwing them out either. Finally, I found a few churches who would take them for their kids' religious classes. The kids can make snowmen out of them. I found the idea on Crafts.com, copied it & took it to each of the churches with about 100 bottles each. Also, there are homeless shelters that will take them. They put items like buttons, thread in them to give to the homeless as little sewing kits. Check with your local churches & shelters. ... View related article.
You're going to think this is crazy, but it has worked for me since I was in my 20's - out every night dancing, & spilling red wine. That is 35 years. Put the item in the kitchen sink with the plug in. Pour cheap white wine on it. You can see the red wine lift out instantly. It's like magic. Then launder as you normally would. When a friend told me this all those yrs ago, I thought she was crazy. Now, I keep a big jug of cheap white wine under my kitchen sink. ... View related article.
I had that problem a few yrs ago. Someone told me to sprinkle cayenne pepper over the area where the cats went. That stuff is very expensive. We bought 2 large bottles of it, sprinkled it over the side of our yard, & then it rained the next day! So that didn't work, & I wasn't willing to spend the money again. I thought I'd try something else. I clean up my dog's poop every other day. This is going to sound gross, but it worked. I collected a week's worth of doggie poop & scattered it over the area in our side yard where I was having trouble finding cat poop all the time. Well, the dog poop eventually disintegrated, & we never had a cat problem again. ... View related article.
The person who recommended ice cubes is right on. I have done that for years. When I hired a fireman to come move some of my furniture, there were a lot of those dents left in my white carpeting. He said to just put an ice cube (or 2, depending on the diameter) on the carpet & let it melt. No need to fluff or blow dry. That's all I've ever done & it's worked great. ... View related article.
