RE: In Memory Of Charlie (Cocker Spaniel Mix)
Thank you so much for all of your feedback and including pictures of your own "furry kids". Charlie had such personality, we almost named him "Catfish" b/c if any of you have caught a catfish, you may have heard the sound they make once out of the water, a type of grunt/bark sound which is exactly the sound Charlie made while sleeping, especially as a baby pup. He could snore like a man! lol. Thank you again, your feedbacks helped me to remember even more good memories of my Charlie boy. ... View related article.

RE: Garden: Homemade Bird Feeder
Thank you to all who have posted feedback. As I mentioned hubby saw this in another's yard, so we are happy to know some of the origins of it, thank you! And I did have a few photos of a regularly visiting squirrel that turned out blurry, but we don't mind them visiting, we aren't overrun by them, yet *grin*. I use a mixture of cracked corn and black sunflower seeds, it actually took quite a while for the squirrels to seek it out, a family of five titmice took to it fast. We are looking to install a few more around the yard, thank you again for the feedback! ... View related article.

RE: Planting Canna Lilies
Hi there, I have a "killer" green thumb meaning almost every plant I try to grow I kill...lol, except Canna Lilies I have two varieties and each do very well in full sun. I live in SC, they are planted in sandy soil, with gravel mixed in, in full sun. This year a few were covered by a Crepe Myrtle growing bigger than usual and that stunted their growth spurt so much. The ones receiving full sun are approximately three to four feet high already. Planting them the depth you have them at should do fine, I would just make sure they get adequate sun and water. ... RE: Making a Hanging Sunglasses Storage Rack
I too have this problem, and have been wondering for a while now what to do and it wasn't until I read your post that I thought of something...lol, I think I will use a small "over the door" or "closet hanging" plastic shoe rack, with the clean window pockets, (that you can pick up a a Dollar Tree type store). You don't have to turn the glasses forward this way they don't get scratched, you can simply turn them sideways but b/c the pockets are see thru you can find the pair you want easily. Hope this works well for you. ... View related article.
