| RE: Rotten Meat Smell in the Refrigerator |
|
I had the same problem when one of my renters moved out. You could try putting several boxes of opened baking soda in it. You could also try wiping down the entire refrigerator with vinegar, but I would suggest you leave it unplugged and open for a day or two if you do that. Charcoal should work also but with that you would need to keep the refrigerator closed. Good luck! ... View related article. |

You have had so much change in your life in the past year, it's no wonder you're overwhelmed. That's a lot to have to deal with in such a short time. You could also find a chat room on the internet and talk with other people while your husband's at work, if you're not able to get out of the house. That way you could stay connected with other people while at home and make new friends at the same time. ... View related article. |

| RE: Refrigerator Stopped Working - Removing Odors From Spoiled Food |
|
I've heard that crumpled up newspaper and charcoal briquets put in the refrigerator absorb odors. Arm & Hammer baking soda works too. I had to clean a refrigerator in a rental recently that had a lot of spoiled food left in it (the electricity had been disconnected). I used bleach to wipe down the inside, and then left the doors open for a few days to help remove the odor. I don't know what to do with the linoleum floor, though. Perhaps vinegar will help. Good luck! ... View related article. |
