| RE: Storage Ideas for a House With No Closets |

For a bathroom you could store towels in a wicker lined hamper, or a medium sized wicker basket. If you hang u pa sturdy shelf with molly bolts (hardware store) you can buy those canvas or wicker typed baskets to hold things in and if you buy several of the same it looks uniform and good. sometimes you can find really sturdy baskets at walmart inexpensive or look at yard sales. You can use a an old low dresser in dining room for linens-table cloths buy a really nice runner for top and put a nice bowl or something there it will look like a buffet-side table. You would be amazed at what paint can do change the whole look of something. I love watching those design shows where the budget is tight and they are forced to use imaginations. Good luck :) ... Great take home goodie plus a lil matchbox car maybe red or you might even find a little lightning mcqueen, make "cars" printables on computer at target in dollar area the yhad "cars" crayons don't know if it's the same everywhere? what about buying red plates,,plastic silverware, and buying "cars" napkins & cups t otie it in. Back then you guys played records. What about mini picture frames that run about 50 cents? Paint them black and go to michael's crafts store or a hobby shop and buy mini records to hot glue on them. Then on the bottom of the frame glue letters saying class of 1974 or whatever, or you could paint it your school colors. Just a thought. ... View related article. |

| RE: Ideas for County Fair |
What about getting ball jars and fill them with water and do like a penny, dime toss or use rings, or ping pong balls. set up a clothesline from tree to tree and drape a peice of canvas over that you can decorate to look like a fishing booth. Using a dowel with string on it like a fishing rod but it has a basket or bucket attached they can swing it over the top and someone on the other side could put a prize on it something really inexpensive like a box of crayons ,coloringbook, lolipops, stuffed toy, keychain, sunglasses, balls, blowup balls, frisbee, slinky, jacks, etc. What about fillinga huge old pickle jar with candiesand the closest to the right amount wins it. Cake mix is cheap and icing at walmart what about making a bunch of cupcakes and creat a decorate your own cupcake table? get like several types of sprinkles and have a few people there to help so it doesnt get too crazy like using the whole jar of sprinkles. Don't know if any of it is in budget but just ideas. ... View related article. |
