You have made the first and best step just by saying you wish to lose weight. I am much older than you, I am 52 but I have lost 70lbs in the last 4months by eating small breakfast and a reasonable dinner. Use "I can't believe its not butter spray as your butter. Use Splenda for sugar substitute they taste just like the real thing. The most important thing I have done is walk to a t.v video walking tape by Leslie Sansone "walk the walk" You need to walk for 30 min 6 days a week and you "will" lose weight. Zues is so handsome, we too have a boxer his name is buster and he is 16wks old. He is so smart, he already does sit,stay,come, down, shake and off. As far as keeping your dog from jumping up on you, when you first come home do not go crazy saying hello. Ignore them until you have put your things down and the dog has calmed down, then say your hello's calmly. Petsmart has lessons also that were great help to us, and was very reasonable. Good luck.. I have an idea for you about the urine smell in the bathroom. I also had this problem, and my sister who has 3 boys of her own suggested that I change my toilet seat. The reason being is that some of the toilet seats are made of some kind of absorbent wood material and that was exactly the kind that I had bought at Walmart. Only buy the seats that are made of hard plastic not pressed wood... See if that works, it sure did at my house. ... View related article. |

I have had many cats over the years, and it is my experience that if there is nothing physically wrong with the cat then i suspect that the cat is just plain mad!!! and I don't blame the cat. Katrina not only traumatized many people, but also our many loved pets.. I imagine the cat was urinating on the girlfriends clothes is because this cat was jealous/mad at the girl who was taking time away from it's owner.. Just make sure to keep the litter box clean and near the cat, and give it lots and lots of love.. Good luck and what a blessing you are to the animal survivors of Katrina..... ...
