RE: Removing Labels from Plastic
With some labels the glue will dissolve with hot water. For those that don't, use lighter fluid. It won't hurt the plastic. I use lighter fluid for a million things around the house. Label goo, tar, tree sap, scuff marks, candle was residue. It removes magic marker from many surfaces. I've used it on my car, clothes, floors and walls, glass, plastic, even on myself and I've never had a surface so far that it's hurt. It evaporates, doesn't have an offensive odor, and it's cheap. Works ten times better than that expense Goo Gone or Goof Off and a lot less expensive. We don't smoke but have lighter fluid everywhere; under Kitchen and bathroom sink, laundry room, garage, even in my office. It's a multipurpose product! ... View related article.

RE: Removing Black Heel Marks
Lighter fluid! We use it for scuff marks and removing goo from labels. It will remove permanent marker from many surfaces without harming the finish. Use it to remove tree sap and tar off your car, boots and clothes. You can even use it to remove tar, tree sap and goo off of yourself but wash off with soap and water as people with real sensitive skin might feel it burning a bit ( it doesn't bother my skin at all).

It will dissolve candle wax residue and chewing gum. We use lighter fluid for a million uses around our house yet my husband and I don't smoke so there's no need to use it in lighters. I keep a can under the bathroom and kitchen sink, one in the laundry room and garage, even one in my office to remove goo and marker! It has many uses and depending on what you're using it for you don't have to wash or rinse it off because it evaporates. And it's cheap! ... View related article.

RE: Blue Heeler Breed With No Tail
That is a question that use to leave be perplexed but I finally got accurate information. A true Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) is Blue, White and Brown in color (some may say Black instead of Blue) and they are born with a tail; some tails are cropped after birth.

Now for the a very similar breed of dog that is born without a tail and does not have any brown, only blue and white in color. This my friend is a Stumpy-Tailed Australian Cattle Dog.

Please see the picture of our precious Bear. He was a full-blooded Stumpy-Tailed Australian Cattle. Only
Blue and White in color, born with NO tail and although this photo looks like he has green eyes, they were actually a beautiful, very deep brown. A very intelligent, laid-back loving little guy. Unfortunately, we lost him at only 6 months old. He was ran over by our neighbor when he wandered out into the road and we had to have him put to sleep his injuries were so bad. I still won't speak to the neighbor that hit him and then just took off to let him suffer! ... View related article.

RE: Cleaning Soap Scum on Shower Doors
'The Works' Toilet Bowl Cleaner will cut that soap scum & hard water. I stand in the tub wearing flip-flops and wearing rubber gloves. Just squirt in on the walls, glass doors, etc. and wipe it down. Any tough to reach places try using a brush. Rinse when you're done. It will cut the soap scum & hard water build up. Thank goodness it doesn't smell bad but it will sting if it splatters on you. I don't let the build up get ahead of me now. Use weekly and you can get by with wiping it down with a few squirts on a wash cloth. Don't use anything abrasive or you'll scratch your finish. ... RE: What Breed is My Dog?
Your dog looks just like Lacey, my son-in-laws dog. Lacey is a Chocolate German Short-Hair Retreiver and Lab mix. Your dog and Lacey could pass for identical twins! Yes, tall with long muscular legs and boundless energy! ... View related article.

RE: How Big Will My Dog Get?
My vet confirmed that you can estimated a puppy's adult weight by taking their 8 weeks weight and mulitping by 3 or their 12 week weight and multiply by 2. This will give you a very close estimate of their adult weight. My puppy was 6 lbs. at 12 weeks so her adult weight should be about 12 lbs. Hope this helps.

RE: Tape Residue on Scissors
Lighter fluid....it's cheap and it doesn't leave a oily or greasy residue. It doesn't mar the finish like nail polish remover and evaporates quickly. We are a non-smoking household but I have a can of lighter fluid in the bathroom, kitchen, laundryroom and garage. It lifts off those dang labels that are soooo glued on, takes the goo off everything, scuff marks off the floor, tar off your clothes, just a million uses for it. I couldn't live without it. ... RE: What is This Plant?
Oh my gosh. I had this dreadful plant in 4 places on my property which at one time was a dairy farm. I dug half way to China thinking NOW I surely have it all and it won't come back. Wrong! The thorns are horrid and even the leaves seem to have little prickles on them. The striped green berry looking things it produces stay round (reminds me of a round striped watermelon). They never get any larger than a blueberry in size and they stay hard. The plant grows like a bush, coming out of the ground it one stalk but then branching off into numerous stems. The branches don't get bark, they stay green and quite flexible. I wish someone would come up with the name for this devil-vine. I've now moved and fortunately my new yard doesn't have the thing. It seems invincible! ... View related article.

RE: Labeling Small Appliance Cords
Use empty toilet paper or paper towel tubes to organize your appliacne cords. Cut the paper towel tubes in half for a better length. Label the tube with the name of the appliance and slip the cord inside. No more guessing, no more lost or tangles cords, and your drawer stays tidy as well!!! I do the same thing with extension cords and write the length of the extension cord on the tube so there's no more grabbing the wrong length. ... View related article.
