RE: Dishwasher Leaves Food Particles on Top Rack
Mine was doing this when a repairman happened to be fixing my washing machine, He gave me some free advise and it worked. Run a bowl of vinegar on the bottom shelf through a whole cycle in an empty dishwasher. It dissolves the calcium deposits that were blocking it. My friend used a product she bought at Walmart, a dishwasher cleaner called Dishwasher Magic. I bought some and it is sitting here, to try next time. ... View related article.

RE: Yellow Jackets In House
We have a vineyard, and when the grapes get ripe (this is happening right now as I write) the yellow jackets move in and devour the fruit. To keep the yellow jackets away from the fruit we put out bowls of sugar water, actually shallow pans work the best. The yellow jackets swarm to the sugar water in a mad frenzy. Use one part sugar to four parts water. A good bunch of them drown but if they don't you can spray the sugar water with the yellow jackets in the water with an aerosol can of yellow jacket killer. Hopefully, your yellow jackets will show up and you can find where they come from and trap them. I am allergic to yellow jackets so it is frightening to me to see so may of them outside, but they don't bother with me, they want that sugar water. I am trying to correct my errors in this post but it doesn't seem to work. you want n 10 percent sugar in the water. ... View related article.

RE: Movers Stealing Belongings
We have had long conversations and dealings with the movers in NY and CA, but we never thought to contact the police. It has been reported to the authorities that handle movers and we can sue (very expensive to do)without worrying about a time frame because we reported that, but I never thought about treating it as a theft for income tax purposes. The main mover also propositioned my single daughter and demanded a large tip for his associates. That fact seems to get us nowhere. The moving business is so bad they can take your belongings and refuse to deliver them, they can charge you much more than the contract. Beware and only use a well known mover. What a mess! Thank you for your input. ... View related article.

RE: Relieving Itching From Yellow Jacket Stings
I am allergic to yellow jackets and went through 5 years of desensitization. I didn't go into shock after that, when I later stepped into a nest of them.
I am thinking it might help to go to the doctor and get a hydrocortisone shot like they give for bad poison oak. It will go away then, within a day. You might have it in your blood stream now.
The next time you get stung, this is what I do immediately and it doesn't even leave an itchy bump. I take two Benadryl, and Aleve (for the inflammation) or 2 ibuprofen and put ice on the sting so it doesn't spread the venom.
I was an RN when I was younger but I am not giving medical advise, just talking from my experience.
If you stand in the shower under warm water and direct it on the stings, it will bring the histimine to the surface that causes the itching and it will not itch so badly for awhile. ... View related article.
