RE: Pink Rash on Face
I have rosacea. Mine does not itch. Mine comes and goes. I've found that what I eat and my stress level are triggers for breakouts. If I get over stressed, I know there's going to be a breakout. Really hot, spicy food, caffeine, too many sweets, all cause breakouts. I have eczema also, and too many sweets will make my eczema flair up in a minute. I love coffee, but I try and only have one cup a day. Saves money too :). I also love spicy food, but try to keep it at a minimum. Chocolate is a weakness, but I know if I have to much, I will suffer. These foods might not be your triggers.

You will have to do trial and error to find out what foods are. I also use Eucerin, and it helps sometimes. They have a redness reliever, but I can't tell much of a difference in it and the regular Eucerin. Try to keep your face covered with a hat or umbrella when in the sun. You can try sunblock, but it makes my breakouts worse. Find a very gentle cleanser for sensitive skin. I use the Neutrogena bar for sensitive skin. It's about $2 a bar and lasts a while. I am having a flair up right now. It's due to stress, but I did eat a couple pieces of my mom's pound cake :) Do some research if you have the time.

RE: Computer Isn't Doing Updates
On your start menu, go to Help & Support
Click on "Keep your computer up to date with Microsoft Updates".
Make sure "Automatic Updates" is turned ON.

When I get ready to install the updates, I use "Custom" option. If there's something that you don't think you need or want then you can choose not to install it. For example, I don't update any languages except English. You should also create a restore point for your computer before you actually install any updates or install any new programs. If there is a virus, spyware or malware within any of the installed programs, you can possibly go back and restore your computer to the restore point date. This does not work every time because of the type of virus etc. that attacks you computer, but it is a good precaution.

RE: Changing Hair Color from Dark to Light
Thanks for all of your help! I don't know what my natural color is since it's been so long since I had natural color, but I think its light brown. :) I've been coloring since I was about 33 or 34. Thanks again.

RE: Make Your Own "Name Brand" Hair Products
I used to buy my daughter name brand clothing from department stores, but since I found Ross and Marshall's,& TJ Maxx, I never set foot in one of those expensive stores. My daughter is not terribly picky, and she loves the clothes from Ross. The only thing name brand that she likes is handbags, and I find them for less than half the amount they cost in a pricey dept. store at one of the stores listed above. I buy thrift store clothing for myself, and she is not opposed to it, but I do buy her new clothing before school starts and at Christmas. She doesn't get them any other time unless it's an emergency. ... View related article.

RE: My Frugal Life: Stay Out of Stores
Thank you for your advice. I strive everyday to spend less, it just seems that I never stay in my budget, I'm always needing something extra. Putting an amount in an envelope is a great idea, one that I plan on trying. Do you print your coupons or buy a couple Sunday papers? Also, you mentioned cottage cheese patties. I would love to have the recipe for these. I can never find enough to do with cottage cheese.
Thanks

RE: Acai Berry Diet Supplements
I've started using it. You can buy the Spring Valley brand at Wal-mart. It's wild harvested and a gel capsule. It's much better than most I've seen. The one that advertises a sample is FREEZE DRIED and not in it's purest form. It's between $6 & $7 at Walmart. I also use the organic flax oil from Walmart, and my better half uses the cod liver oil from there too. It's the Spring Valley brand. Researching, we've found that all of these products are better than many that are sold in the health food stores. Back to the ACAI. I've been taking it for about a month and a half. I'm not sure about weight loss, but I do know that it seems to give me more energy. But I take several supplements, so it could be a combination of some of those. I always check at Wal-mart before I buy supplements anywhere else. 9 times out of 10, I've found a better product or at least a comparable one.

RE: What Breed is My Dog?
My doggy looks very similiar to yours except that she is white with black and brown spots. She has the little brown spots above the eyes just like your doggy. I got her from my daughter's friend who knew who have Tinker's parents. She is half Chihuahua and half Rat Terrier. My daughter says she's a Chi-Rat. Guess there's a name for everything now. This isn't a great picture. But the face and ears look the same. Tinker is just a bit overweight :) ... View related article.
