RE: Inexpensive Dog Toys
I save all my hubbys socks that have holes in them for my dogs. Tie a couple knots in the middle, and they're perfect for a chew toy. Sometimes I even drop a few pieces of dry dog food inside before knotting. They love working that sock over till they get to the goodies!

RE: Flying Vs. Driving
If it were me, I'd fly. A 14 hour road trip with a baby that has to be fed, diapered, etc. means frequent stops (can't do those things while she's buckled in a car seat!) and can easily turn into much longer than that. Safest? Well...the chances of somehting happening in 2 hours vs. 14+....I'd say the shortest time would have the better odds. ... View related article.

RE: Direct Foam Refills
Debbie52...I've used several brands of dishsoap, Joy, Ajax, Palmolive, and yes, even Dawn too. They all work just fine. I have a dishwasher, so don't really do much hand washing, but the foam is great for a quick cleanup of a dish or pot. Mine drips too, but I just placed a small sponge under the spout, then use the sponge for quick counter cleanups. That way I don't waste a drop of that lovely foam! :-)) ... View related article.

RE: Direct Foam Refills
You probably used too much dishsoap and not enough water. I did too the first time I tried. It has to be r-e-a-l-l-y diluted...only 3/4 to 1 inch of soap and the rest water, mix gently. Worked great for me! ... View related article.

RE: Gold Finches!
To attract birds to your yard, you need feeders for seed, birdhouses for nesting, and a birdbath for water (both drinking and bathing). Since you have no trees, use poles/posts to mount them. I have lots of trees, but mount most of my birdhouses and feeders on 8' posts.

RE: Apple Lost My RAM
I'd try to track down a receipt for your purchase of the RAM, if you no longer have it. Did you buy it online? Use a credit card? Try contacting the merchant/credit card company for a copy of your receipt. Then submit that as proof. ... View related article.
