| RE: In Memory Of Charlie (Cocker Spaniel Mix) |
My heart goes out to you that you lost your love Charlie. I lost Yellow dog too just before Thanksgiving and his 12th birthday last year and I still miss the old goat! He was a character and the best Wolf and Lab we ever had in the family he was mama's puppy and I Loved him so. I cried for weeks and the thoughts of him still make me cry today. Thank you for sharing your memories of him and I know the feeling you will never find another puppy like Charlie. We will never find one like yellowdog either. But it is odd. The two youngsters we have, have taken on traits of him. So it is like he is still here with them in spirit :) But we always have our memories. Picture of Yellowdog Below. ... View related article. |

| RE: What Breed is My Dog? |
Well believe it or not their are short rotties. Just as there are short Pit Bulls we have a small medium size pit bull this may be a medium size Rottie. I am thinking rottie also but the paws are not large YET...lol :)
But I also think he may have some short hair Shepard they do run in a medium sized breed too. I had a medium short haired German Shepard coloured that way.
Dobermans have more of a pointed nose, and well my friend who breeds and owns dogs most of his life has stated an American Coonhound he has never seen with a brown face...mostly they have all black faces. So I have to tend with the mix of German Shepard and rottie maybe a medium sized breed, but you will have a wonderful and loving breed there and a great watchdog he looks like he will be powerful too :) Have fun with him! :) He looks like he will be a handful LOL :) ... First let me say what a wonderful puppy both of you have pretty puppies I have to say it has Pitbull in it and I would say maybe Boxer ears, and a Pitbull head.
If it has a broad back and bum it is Pit Bull if it has a thin back end. It is Boxer and Pit Bull.. hope that helps I know I own a Pit Bull have owned like 3 of them and Boxer they are both Purebreds and wonderful loving puppies! :) Even though they are 7 and 5 years old they are my babies! Picture below when it was snowing :) ... View related article. |

| RE: In Memory Of Rosabella (Tortoiseshell) |
May I make a suggestion of your neighbors shooting stray cats. I am sure like in most places there is an animal abuse laws there cruelty to animals. Take pictures of their actions and then call the Animal Control in your area. So you can just prove to them that they were shooting at animals in the area. Stray or not no one has the right to shoot an innocent animal that is doing no harm to them at all.
Just a thought. I know that is what I would do. As our Animal Control guy told us to do that with some stray dogs in our area.. but they are mean as all get out and they did get picked up and the owner fined for not having them properly controlled. ... View related article. |

I have to say a beautiful Pit Bull I have owned three and I have to say I love them all they are nothing but big babies and furthermore, as far as them being mean or dangerous. This is with any breed. I don't care what breed you have dogs are dogs, but our pit bulls are not bred or around aggressive owners. The more mean the owners and the more aggression to any animal the meaner they will get. They learn like children from their owners. Don't blame the breed or the dog. Train them properly and they will become loving animals and wonderful family dogs! My pit bulls have been nothing but big babies! My babies are pictured above.. my boxer Summer and Pit Bull Rainey. :) ... View related article. |

I wanted to state I think this is wonderful. I know we do a lot on Freecycle and we do a lot for our community with free clothing and free blankets and free furniture. That we get from other people that are just cleaning up and going to throw away stuff you know? so this is wonderful that all of you are doing as well. If more could and would help it would be a better place to live. God Bless you all and keep up the marvelous work to help those in need. As it keeps unfortunately growing everyday. ... | RE: Puppy Wants to Sleep in Our Bed |
|
Belzin is most right here. Especially with a Pit Bull let me tell you we have 3 of them and they can get balky and need to show them that you are the boss early on or they will take their little paws and keep walking all over you LOL :) but as fun as it is to have puppy with you in bed, it is best for now to do as Belzin says and even a wind up clock with the alarm off of course is very soothing for a young puppy as it reminds them of mommies heartbeat, so put that under the blanket near her to cuddle with. They will go right to sleep with it :) Hope that helps too. And wear ear plugs they don't give up they will try and try to get your attention with whining! :) ... View related article. |

| RE: Making Raisin Bread in Bread Machine |
Well you could add double the amount then normal and maybe when they get chopped up within the dough there would be more spreaded around OR you could like one said add them by removing the dough and kneading it into the dough, if there was a pause button lol :) mine there arenot.. then you might as well let it rise and stick it in the oven you know in a bread pan! So I would maybe try double the amount if nothing else :) and maybe you would have disappeared raisans but more of them lol :) Just a thought... ... View related article. |
