RE: Dog Urinates Inside When Left Alone
I have the same problem that you do when we got our new dog, except he was a stray. :) But your dog might be lonely. When we got my dog a companion, he stopped peeing everywhere. Another thing is if you have a dog door, lock him in a room with it. Also try taking him on long walk, it will tire him out more and he should be finished peeing. Also what ever door you go out of in the morning, keep a bag of treats by it. And everyday your dog goes with out peeing on everything, reward him. :) ... View related article.

RE: Harry (Golden Retriever)
Many large dogs do like chewing on sticks because it is hard and it breaks easily. Just make sure that he doesn't swallow and bits of it. :) ... View related article.

RE: Goldfish Tank Gets Very Dirty
It is normal but you should include in your question if the "dirt" is green or not. If it is greensih you should get a snail or two. If it is brownish, you either need to clean your tank more often or you need to get some shrimp to clean the bottom.

RE: Stopping a Dog from Licking Too Much
OK, here is what you do, i have a dog with the same licking issue, but all you have to do is train your dog to give kisses on command. Visit your local Petsmart and talk to one of the trainers about kissing on command.

Best of luck,

RE: Getting Rid of Dog Urine Odor From Microfiber Couch
Hey have you tried using Hydrogen Peroxide? This can get rid of the smell so dog doesn't keep peeing on it. Also try to wash the cushions, but not the inside of the cushions. Here is what you use to make the "blend". Mix 2 parts water with 1 part Hydrogen Peroxide

Best of luck! Lauren ... View related article.

RE: Dog Afraid of Crate
I had the same issue with my dogs, if your dog doesn't like cages then don't force him/her into one. This can actually make them aggressive to you! What you need to do is teach him/her to use a dog door to go potty outside. If you can't do that because of your apartment problem, then you can either ask someone to come by and walk your dog (a person the dog is comfortable with like a friend or family member) or you can do something like put puppy training pads down.

Another thing that you can do is take him/her to your vet, he/she might have a bladder problem "holding it in". Your vet can recommended somethings you can do to help. I do agree that he should be "potty trained" by now, but one thing that you can do if nothing else works is get ready like your going to leave and stand outside for a little bit (outside your building) and after a little while go in and praise your dog for not peeing. After a while you can extend the time outside and repeat the praising.

Make sure to pick up there food and water dishes. This probably sounds mean but it can help if the dog doesn't drink more water while your gone. Be sure to take him/her out before you leave, this can also help.
Best of luck, Lauren ... View related article.
